How to Create New File or Folder in cPanel

In this guideline, you will find how to create new file or folder in cPanel, first start by login using the admin link provided by Voxfor. Once logged-in, you’ll be directed to the cPanel dashboard, where you can easily access all the tools you need to manage your website.Now in cPanel search bar type “file” and select “File Manager” from the dropdown menu. In the File Manager, navigate to the “public_html” directory where your website files are located.

To create a new file, click on the “+ File” button, enter your desired file name in the “New File” window, and then click “Create New File.” The new file will appear in the directory list. Now to create a new folder, click on the “+ Folder” button, provide a name for your folder in the “New Folder” window, and click “Create New Folder.” The folder will now be visible in the File Manager.

To login into cPanel Dashboard, you will need to visit the admin link provided in the details from Voxfor (ex: https://example.com:2083).

Navigate To Public_html

In the File Manager, click on “public_html” from the list to access the directory where your website’s files are stored.

After clicking “+ File”, a “New File” window will appear. Enter the desired name for the new file and click “Create New File” to finalize its creation.

In the cPanel File Manager, click on the “+ Folder” button to create a new folder in the current directory.

After clicking “+ Folder”, a “New Folder” window will appear. Enter the desired name for the new file and click “Create New Folder” to finalize its creation.
