You can edit MySQL database in cPanel by logging into the admin link, such as https://example.com:2083. As soon as you log in, you will see the cPanel dashboard, which contains a variety of database management tools. Search for “phpMyAdmin” in the cPanel search bar and open it. Navigate to “wp1q_comments” in the “helpvoxfor_testdb” database in phpMyAdmin.
After making your changes, click “Go” to save them. Click “Browse” to view the table’s data, then select “Edit” to modify a record. You will receive a confirmation message once the changes have been successfully applied.

After clicking “Login,” you’ll be taken directly to the cPanel dashboard, where you can manage your website and hosting settings. The dashboard provides easy access to all the tools and features you need.
phpMyAdmin
In the cPanel search bar, type “php” to find “phpMyAdmin” in the dropdown menu. Click on “phpMyAdmin” to open the tool for managing your MySQL databases.
MySQL Database
In the phpMyAdmin screen, click on “helpvoxfor_testdb” to access that specific database. This will allow you to view and manage its tables and data.
Browse Table
In the phpMyAdmin window, locate the “wp1q_comments” table and click the “Browse” button next to it. This will display the contents of the “wp1q_comments” table for viewing and editing
Edit Selected Record Table
After clicking “Browse”, you will be redirected to a new phpMyAdmin window showing the table’s data. Click “Edit” to modify the selected record in the table.
Edit the comment_author field if you wish to make changes; if not, leave it unchanged. The choice is yours based on whether you want to update the information or keep it as it is.
Save Table Record
After editing the comment_author field, scroll down slightly to find the “Go” button. Click on “Go” to save the changes to the record in the table.
You will see a notification stating “1 row affected,” indicating that your changes have been successfully saved. The edited details will also be displayed in the table below, as shown in the image.
