File Manager:
To create folders in DirectAdmin, start by opening the File Manager through the search bar and selecting “File Manager” from the drop-down menu. Navigate to the “public_html” directory and right-click within it. Choose “Create Folder” from the menu and enter your desired folder name, or accept the default name. The new folder will then be created and visible in the “public_html” directory. For further guidance, you can watch our instructional video.
In the search bar at the top of the screen, type “file” and select “File Manager” from the drop-down menu. This will open the File Manager interface.
In the File Manager, click on “public_html” as shown in the image below. This will open the directory where your website files are stored.
Create New Folder:
Right-click on the “public_html” screen and select “Create Folder” from the menu, as shown in the image below. This will allow you to create a new folder within the “public_html” directory.
Enter your desired folder name, or it will be created with the default name “New Folder.” This will create a new directory in the “public_html” folder.
As you can see in the image below, the folder you created is displayed with the name “Test”.
