How to Change DirectAdmin Password

A Quick Guide:

To make changes on an FTP account, first log in to the DirectAdmin control panel using the admin link provided by Voxfor.

Once logged-in, use the search bar to navigate to “FTP Management.” To update an existing FTP account’s password, enter the new password in the “Enter Password” field and click “MODIFY.”

 If you need to create a new FTP account, fill in the username and password fields, then click “CREATE.”

To delete an account, select the user, click “DELETE,” and confirm the action.

To log in to the DirectAdmin control panel, you will need to visit the admin link provided in the details received from Voxfor.

Upon visiting the link, the login screen will appear as shown in the image below. Enter your username and password, then click the “Sign In” button to proceed.

FTP Management:

As you see the search bar at the top of the screen, enter “FTP” and select “FTP Management” from the drop-down menu.

Create User:

The below image provides steps on creating an FTP account in the control panel of a website management system. The instructions are as follows:

  1. Type Username: The first step is to enter the desired FTP username in the field labeled “FTP Username.” In the image, the username “test” is entered.
  2. Enter Password: Next, you need to enter a password for the FTP account in the field labeled “Enter Password.” The password is shown as a series of dots for security purposes.
  3. Create: After filling in the username and password, you need to click the “CREATE” button to finalize the creation of the FTP account.

After creating an FTP account successfully, you will see the login details [email protected] and the password test@123, also showing the directory path /home/voxforhelp/domains/help.voxfor.com. Now click “CLOSE” finalizes the process.

Click on the edit icon as shown in the image below. This will allow you to make changes to the selected item or settings in your DirectAdmin account.

Modify Existing FTP Account:

Below is the instructions on how to modify an existing FTP account in the control panel. The following steps are:

  1. New Password: Click on the field labeled “Enter Password” to input the new password for the FTP account.
  2. Modify: After entering the new password, click the “MODIFY” button to save the changes.

Choose the user you recently created and click on the “Delete” option as illustrated in the image below. This action will remove the selected user from your DirectAdmin account.
