To create an FTP account in DirectAdmin, start by searching for “FTP Management” and selecting it from the drop-down menu. Click “Create FTP Account,” set your desired username, generate a password, and then click “Create” to establish the account. To modify an existing password, click the pencil icon next to the account, enter a new password, and click “MODIFY.” To delete an account, select it, click “Delete,” and confirm the action.
In the search bar at the top of the screen, type “ftp” and select “FTP Management” from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the database management section.
Click on “Create FTP Account” to begin setting up a new FTP account. This will allow you to configure access credentials for file management via FTP.
To create an FTP account, set your desired FTP username and click the icon next to the password field to automatically generate a password. Finally, click “Create” to establish the new FTP account.
After clicking “Create,” your FTP account will be set up, and you’ll receive a confirmation message with your login details. Click “Close” to finish and exit the confirmation window.
Modify or change Password:
To change or modify the password, click on the pencil icon next to your account as shown in the image. This will allow you to update the password for your FTP account.
On this screen, enter your new password and then click “MODIFY” to update the password for your FTP account.
After clicking “MODIFY,” a confirmation dialogue box will appear, indicating that your FTP account has been successfully updated.
Account Deletion:
To delete an account, select the account you wish to remove and then click the “Delete” button as shown in the image below. This will initiate the account deletion process.
After clicking “Delete,” a confirmation box will appear. Click “Confirm” to proceed with deleting the selected account.
You will receive a final notification indicating that your account has been successfully deleted. This confirms the removal of the selected account.
